When I create a vision for my life I reach outside myself and trust the universe to provide. But accepting life as fate is not making the most of future possibilities. Accepting life on its own terms and living in the present is essential to a happy, free, joyful life. By living in the present, I don't have to drag my past into the future. I can choose differently. Living now, accepting where I am today, is essential to my well being, though it doesn't dictate my tomorrow.
My life will never be the same as it is this very moment. The next breath brings hope for a better tomorrow. Life's terms today do not determine my hopes, dreams and goals for the future. Reality is what I have created up to this point. The life I continue to live will also be what I create. This creation is based on the combination of my dreams, my efforts, and the abundance of the universe. The key to tapping into universal energy is focusing on what I want in my life, not what I lack. My positive emotions in combination with my dreams for the future and universal energy create a more accurate picture of my future than what the past has predicted.
The reality of my life today and the lack of certain things in my life can serve as reminders of where to place my attention. The material things that life provides are only a physical manifestation of my internal thoughts and feelings. We all have the capability to create a prosperous future, but not all of us have the desire to move beyond our present set of circumstances. It is the taking of action through change Moving past our present circumstances requires action.
Change enables us to let go of the past and move into the future. Letting go is the difficult part. Allowing the change to occur gracefully and naturally facilitates progress and transformation. Often, I must give up what I have in life to receive what I want. This giving up of something may be painful if looked at as a sacrifice or a loss. But if I see this as an opportunity to make better choices and move closer to my true vision, then leaving the past and making changes can be embraced.
The important things in life are no longer what I can get but rather what I feel and where I can contribute. Today I have the joy of health, friendship, love, and family and the gift of giving back to others. What I focus on are the things I want to maintain or increase in my future.
I don't always know how to achieve all my desires. I just continue to do the best I can with the options presented to me. I regularly examine whether my choices are taking me closer to my vision or further away from them. I continue to make the effort, be open to possibilities, and leave the results to the power of the universe.
I give thanks daily for what I have and what I want to attract into my life. Then I have faith in Spirit to work out the details. I have complete trust that I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be, and that I'll continue to be exactly where my feelings and thoughts take me. I can appreciate and accept what my reality is now, and take action to improve my future. |
