Background Information: |
 |
I have been a social worker for over 30 years. I served on the faculties of Columbia, Fordham and Loyola Schools of Social Work and Allegheny College, and wrote a book, "Unequal Justice: the Prosecution of Child Sexual Abuse." I conducted practice reseach at two national child welfare research organizations. My approach to therapy is grounded in my experience, both clinical and academic. As a social worker, I view a person's environment as critical to their emotional state. My style is supportive and gently directive, but above all, respectful of the individual. |
